Dr Sangeeta Karmokar
Director
Sangeeta has a background in education from The Auckland University of Technology where she has been a teacher and lecturer for 22 years. Her interest in owning an early childhood education centre comes from her deep interest in entrepreneurship and ensuring local businesses serve the needs of the local community. Sangeeta also works with women who immigrate to New Zealand and want to start their own businesses. This is under the auspices of AUT in Auckland City campus

Susan Milnes
Director and Centre Manager
Sue has been a teacher and leader across the three education sectors in Aotearoa, New Zealand. She joined the NZ Education Review Office in 2010 until 2019 where she was involved in evaluating ECE centres and assessing their quality of education and care. Sue feels strongly that education begins at birth and the Hibiscus Kindergarten and Nursery staff are privileged to join parents and whānau as the first educators of young children to ensure we create successful lifelong learners, happy in their childhood contexts

Bronwyn Phillips
Head Teacher Over 2
Bronwyn is an experienced Under-2 teacher and leader who enjoys working with infants up to the age of two years. She is fully qualified and registered and also has a degree in occupational therapy which certainly enhances and informs working with our youngest children. She sees herself as adding value, in partnering with whānau, to bring the best learning experiences and settling routines to and for the child

Emma Meng
Teacher Over 2
Emma has graduated with a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have obtained provisional teacher registration. She is an optimistic and cheerful person, able to quickly accept new things and willing to try. She loves children and enjoys to watch them grow.

Carla Roos
Head Teacher Under 2

Carla is a highly committed and registered Early Childhood teacher who enjoys working with young children. She has a very calm and patient manner, coupled with excellent communication and listening skills that relates well to young children. Her passion for education and on-going experience makes her an expert at fostering a purposeful progression in learning. Her skills in preparing well-thought out lessons, exploring new teaching techniques help create an environment that stimulates positive learning

Anya Huang
Teacher Under 2
Anya has successfully completed all early childhood education and is registered teacher in New Zealand. She is proficient in utilizing various teaching strategies to support children's holistic development. Written Skills. She has strong oral and written communication skills, enabling her to effectively compose learning stories, assessments, and other documentation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records of children's progress.
